I have had several people reach out to me today inquiring about the show coming up April 28-29. As you may know, we may be looking at getting some rain off and on this week. I promise you that we will keep you informed as to the condition of the show grounds. I will say that, unless the grounds are under water again AQHA will most likely want us to have the horse show. Janie and Dave Wymer have been working around the clock, as always, to have the riding club in show shape.  I, along with the board, would like for everyone to keep this in mind. When something like high water happens, it is not a short and easy fix. Please monitor our page and website for further updates. We always have our exhibitors and their horses’ safety as top priority. Thank you for all of your concerns. We are looking forward to getting this show on the road! See you next weekend! Section 8,
Board of Directors Power and Authority
The Board of Directors shall have the power and authority to make, amend, repeal, and
enforce such rules, regulations, and contracts, not contrary to law or the Certificate of
Incorporation of these By-Laws, as they may deem expedient concerning the conduct,
management, and activities of the association, as well as the admission, classification,
suspension, and expulsion of members in addition to the collection of dues and fees, the
conduction of shows, contest, exhibitions, races, sales, and social functions, and other details
relating to the general purposes of the association. All, however, are subject to revision of
amendment by the members, provided written notice of intention by any rule or
regulation shall have been mailed (either via U.S. mail or by e-mail) to all members at
least fifteen (15) days in advance of the meeting.
Section 9.
Board and Membership Actions
The Board of Directors shall have the power to make, amend, and repeal the By-Laws of the
association by vote of majority of the Directors at any regular or special meeting of the Board ,
subject to the right of the members to rescind or amend any such By-Laws in the same manner
as provided in Article VI. Section 8. for the revision or amendment of rules, regulations, and

All horses entering the show grounds from out-of-state MUST have a current Coggins test and Health Certificate, whether the horse is being shown or not. This is strictly enforced by the West Virginia Department of Agriculture. Failure to provide proper paperwork will be adequate grounds to dismiss horse(s) from grounds. To be current, Health Certificate must be dated within 30 days.
